Roy Huang

Roy Huang is the Head of Asia & Caribbean and is a Senior Managing Director within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, based in Hong Kong. With extensive experience in leading global consulting firms and multinational corporations, Roy brings substantial expertise in private equity, business transformation and M&A across various industries. His notable sectors of focus include technology, consumer goods and financial services industries.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Roy held pivotal roles at a prominent consulting firm, where he led the transactions and integrations business in the Asia Pacific region, the Greater China private equity and principal investor practice, and the corporate finance and strategy business.

Throughout his professional journey, Roy has cultivated strong relationships and achieved significant milestones with private equity investors across Asia Pacific, working closely with both global and local funds. He has worked on some of the most significant mergers and acquisitions in the region and was responsible for billion-dollar deals.

Roy was instrumental in the development of the private equity practice at his previous firm and is known for his visionary leadership and strategic acumen, which have been crucial in driving transformations within private equity-backed companies and large corporations. Moreover, his adept management of the finance and client teams in Greater China at his previous organization has contributed to enhanced system performance, optimized pricing strategies and client structures.
