Our Impact

The institution was equipped with a five-year digital transformation roadmap designed to support its strategy of achieving 2x growth in five years.
Alongside the comprehensive roadmap, FTI Consulting delivered a detailed five-year financial model projecting incremental IT spend (OpEx and CapEx) to drive 10%–15% year-over-year revenue growth and critical digital transformation initiatives.
The targeted transformation roadmap and cost optimization will enable stable, long-term EBIT growth, lower cost-to-serve and a 2% reduction in IT spend as a percent of revenue.
FTI Consulting’s evaluation of end-to-end student, staff and faculty experiences informed the design of a next-gen customer journey leveraging AI and advanced technologies.

Our Role

FTI Consulting conducted a comprehensive current-state assessment across the client’s IT organization, infrastructure, applications, data and operational processes through engagement with more than 40 stakeholders and significant document analysis.
Our experts facilitated strategic workshops with IT leaders to align on business and technology objectives, AI-driven digital vision, future-state architecture and transformation priorities to support the north star and growth strategy.
The team partnered with IT leadership to develop a digital transformation roadmap and comprehensive financial model to support cost optimization, infrastructure and security improvement, student experience transformation and AI-enablement goals.
FTI Consulting prepared critical board materials, including the digital transformation business case, to inform FY26 budget decisions; and further realigned the plan to meet the board-approved $10 million incremental budget target.
