Thomas Sely leads the Forensic Technology practice in France. Mr. Sely advises corporate clients and law firms on the management of electronic evidence and the use of forensic technologies in global dispute resolutions, regulatory investigations and internal compliance audits.
Mr. Sely brings significant experience in domestic and global matters, which typically require sophisticated data workflows to overcome privacy, data protection and blocking statute regulations.
Involved in many of the major e-discovery cases in France, Mr. Sely has also handled high-stakes antitrust investigations and competition reviews during mergers and acquisitions. His expertise has been relied upon in dozens of cases to assist clients during and following dawn raids conducted by various regulators, including French competition authorities, the European Commission, the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office and the Financial Markets Authority.
Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Sely held numerous consultative and business development positions in the legal technology industry, including at a global forensic and investigation services firm. He began his career serving as an in-house counsel
