Eun Suk Oh

Eun Suk Oh leads the Structures and Analytics team within the Real Estate Solutions practice. He specializes in real estate joint ventures, private equity funds and development project, where he assists clients with transaction underwriting, deal structuring, asset/partnership dispositions/on‐going reporting, asset management and restructuring.

Mr. Oh has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. His team has created complex financial models for numerous transactions including acquisitions, recapitalizations, mergers, IPOs and restructurings of real estate portfolios and companies. Mr. Oh has also led development consulting, financial due diligence, restructuring, litigation support and other real estate-related projects.

Mr. Oh’s recent work includes leading a joint venture model rollout project for a U.S.‐based real estate asset manager, replacing hundreds of legacy waterfall models for streamlined use by their finance and asset management teams in the quarterly valuation process. Mr. Oh’s past work includes the development of distribution models for private equity funds with complex fee structures involving various clawback provisions.

Mr. Oh also worked on the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy case, where he helped maximize recoveries for unsecured creditors from the managed liquidation of $23 billion of real estate financial assets collateralized by commercial and residential properties.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Oh was an Investment Manager at Ore International and led the analysis of new acquisitions, execution of transactions and performance of due diligence. Prior to that, he worked as an Architect at Greenberg Farrow Architects in New York City, where he led the design and oversaw the construction of several residential and mixed‐use buildings. Mr. Oh also possesses extensive knowledge of New York City zoning, building codes and construction technology.
