Armen Emrikian is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Chicago. He is a member of the Turnaround & Restructuring Services practice within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment.

Mr. Emrikian has provided corporate restructuring advisory services to companies and their creditors. His expertise includes managing large and complex company-side restructurings across multiple industries, business plan assessment, financial forecasting, valuation and liquidity assessment. He has led comprehensive vendor management programs to stabilize product supply and conserve liquidity on multiple engagements. He has also taken on interim chief financial officer roles on multiple engagements.

Mr. Emrikian has advised clients in a diverse range of industries, including retail, industrial distribution, telecommunications, food and grocery, energy, automotive, steel and manufacturing. Mr. Emrikian’s clients include Pacific Sunwear, Quiksilver, Chassix, Delphi, Intermet, Metalforming Technologies, Valeo Electrical Systems, Telcove (formerly known as Adelphia Business Solutions), Spartan Stores, The Penn Traffic Company, Covanta Energy and Bally Total Fitness Holdings, among others. In addition, Mr. Emrikian has co-authored an article in the ABF Journal on the challenges facing the automotive industry.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Emrikian was a Vice President in the Restructuring practice of Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance practice, where he advised in distressed company situations. Prior to that, he was a consultant in Ernst & Young’s Strategic Transaction practice, which advised chief executive officers and chief financial officers on transaction alternatives to drive profitable growth and enhance competitive positioning.

Mr. Emrikian holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. in Finance from Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Emrikian is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
