Armen Emrikian is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Chicago. He is a member of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment. Mr. Emrikian has provided corporate restructuring advisory services to companies and their creditors. His expertise includes business plan assessment, financial forecasting, valuation, liquidity assessment and vendor management. He has also taken on interim CFO roles on multiple engagements.

Mr. Emrikian has advised clients in a diverse range of industries, including retail, industrial distribution, telecommunications, food and grocery, energy, automotive, steel and manufacturing. A representative list of Mr. Emrikian’s clients includes Pacific Sunwear, Quiksilver, Chassix, Delphi, Intermet, Metalforming Technologies, Valeo Electrical Systems, Telcove (formerly known as Adelphia Business Solutions), Spartan Stores, The Penn-Traffic Company, Covanta Energy and Bally Total Fitness Holdings. In addition, Mr. Emrikian has co-authored an article in the ABF Journal on the challenges facing the automotive industry.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Emrikian was a Vice President in the Restructuring practice of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, where he advised in distressed company situations. Prior to that, he was a consultant in the Ernst & Young Strategic Transaction group, which advised chief executive officers and chief financial officers on transaction alternatives to drive profitable growth and enhance competitive position.

Mr. Emrikian holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. in Finance from Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Emrikian is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
