Dennis Lee is a Senior Director in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment of FTI Consulting and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
Mr. Lee has over 13 years’ professional experience, including over seven years working on Forensic Accounting matters. Mr. Lee is experienced in matters relating to loss and damage, post-acquisition dispute, valuations and investigations.
Mr. Lee’s experience consists of undertaking numerous independent, joint and consulting expert assignments for a wide variety of legal, government and private sector clients.
Mr. Lee has assisted in preparing expert evidence reports for the Federal Court of Australia, Supreme Court of Victoria, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Magistrates Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria and the Family Court of Australia. Further roles include assisting the Independent Accountant in post-acquisition dispute processes and preparing expert evidence for International Arbitration matters.
In addition, Mr. Lee has significant data analytics experience, having assisted clients facing challenges with complex and large sets of data in commercial litigation, anti-bribery and corruption and fraud risk/investigation matters.
Over time, Mr. Lee has developed industry expertise in the Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Retail and Food and Beverage industries. Over the past eight years, Mr. Lee has also been involved with some of the largest debtor/invoice finance matters in Australia. Having experienced this particular financing product from a commercial banking, insolvency and forensic perspective, Mr. Lee’s experience with these matters has proven highly valuable to clients in assessing recoveries, mitigating losses and turnaround.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Lee was a Senior Manager with Grant Thornton. Mr. Lee focused on assisting clients in assessing loss and damage, preparing and reviewing other expert valuations and conducting investigations and discovery in shareholder oppression proceedings.
Prior to Grant Thornton, Mr. Lee was a Manager with McGrathNicol and also worked for GE Commercial Finance in their Commercial Lending Group, focusing on debtor finance.
