Greg Tomlin is a Senior Director in the Corporate Finance/Restructuring segment of FTI Consulting and is based in Perth, Australia.

He offers 25 years broad experience across all sectors of the property. Commencing in the late 80’s Mr. Tomlin gained investment sales and leasing experience with residential, and commercial property with well known local and international agencies. Since then his roles have included Development Management and General Management of both Construction and Property Development businesses in private and public companies.

As General Manager of the Projects Division of one of Western Australia’s largest home building companies he managed the business from loss to profit over a three year period with the introduction of new cost control systems, improved staffing and a wider income base expanding into refurbishments, commercial, mixed use and Medium Rise Residential construction.

He was later appointed General Manager of Operations for Clough Property and managed major projects such as the AU$120 Million Dollar St Quentin's Project in Claremont together with a range of built form and land subdivisions in four states of Australia. In more recent times, Mr. Tomlin was a founding Director of Twin Ocean Property and has performed various roles as an independent development and property consultant.

Mr. Tomlin’s experience makes him a practical problem solver, offering realistic advice and timely cost effective delivery solutions to our clients, including: 

  • Pre-lending reviews of development feasibility analysis, covering risk, cash flow expectations, construction estimates and projected construction and development timelines.
  • Asset sales strategies and efficient implementation including valuation engagement, assessment, rapid agent selection, engagement and effective marketing plan management with a results focus.
  • Development workout strategies and implementation from any stage in the development cycle through to project conclusion.
