Joanna Jiang is a Senior Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting and is based in Beijing.

Joanna has over a decade of combined experience in journalism and public relations. She specialises in financial communications and investor relations, supporting companies with transactions, overseas listings as well as other types of capital market activities. She has worked with clients across a number of sectors including TMT, financial services, energy, healthcare, agriculture and education. She has supported these clients with complex communications tasks, including crisis and issues management, communications strategy, profile raising, providing trusted counsel and urgent response strategies for senior executives.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Joanna worked at APCO Worldwide and H+K Strategies, advising clients on a broad range of integrated internal and external communications campaigns, including advising on and devising Chinese social media campaigns.

Joanna was a former business reporter for top Chinese financial publication, CBN Weekly, which was then part of the second-largest media group in the world, SMG. She has in-depth understanding of the Chinese media landscape and maintains extensive relationships with the media.

Throughout her career, Joanna has worked on supporting clients such as CITIC Securities, ICBC, Minsheng Bank, CITICPE, Sequoia Capital, New Oriental, Autohome, Qihoo 360, Smith and Nephew, BlackRock, Yingli Green Energy and ENN.

Joanna graduated from Renmin University of China with a B.A. in English Literature and Culture. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
