Joanna Jiang is a Director in the Strategic Communications practice of FTI Consulting and she is based in Beijing. Ms. Jiang has more than eight years of experience in journalism and public relations. She specializes in financial communications and investor relations, supporting companies with M&A, U.S. listings and H-share IPOs as well as other corporate financing activities including bond issuance and share placement. Recent clients Ms. Jiang has advised include Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Citic Securities, Warburg Pincus, Minsheng Bank, Weicai Power, Xueersi, and Qihoo360.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Jiang worked at APCO Worldwide and H+K Strategies in the financial communications team, advising on IPOs, investor relations and media relations. She also led a broad range of communications campaigns, including corporate communications, reputation management, crisis management, as well as media relations for MNCs, international financial service institutions and professional service firms including Deloitte, Moody’s, O'Melveny & Myers, New Horizon Capital and Jersey Finance to raise the profile and visibility of these clients in China.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Jiang worked for two years as a business reporter for a top Chinese financial publication CBN Weekly, part of the second largest media group SMG. She reported on fast growing start-ups in the TMT industry, coving the latest happenings within the venture capitalists circle. She has in-depth insights about the Chinese media landscape and maintains extensive relationships with the media.

Ms. Jiang graduated from Renmin University of China with a BA in English Literature and Culture. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
