Kerry Kelly is a Managing Director in the FTI Consulting Strategic Communications segment and is based in Boston.

Ms. Kelly is part of the FTI Consulting Financial Services practice where she provides media relations and communications counsel for a number of clients including, Alliance Data Systems, Avolon, Exelon, L-3 Communications, Travelport and  the various companies in North America owned by the Tata Group, including TCS, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Technologies. 

Ms. Kelly has broad industry background that includes writing and placing byline articles, business and trade media relations, ongoing program execution, executive visibility campaigns, and communications around critical events such as initial public offerings, restructuring activities and mergers and acquisitions.

In the past, Ms. Kelly has served as counsel to Exelon Corp. on business press communications on behalf of the company’s CEO, John Rowe, implemented a CEO visibility campaign for Alliance Data CEO Edward Heffernan and handled media relations for IPOs including Sensata Technologies, Restoration Hardware, Taylor Morrison, Autohome, Santander Consumer USA, Advanced Drainage Systems, Travelport, CONE, Atento and Avolon on the New York Stock Exchange and EXL Service, GW Pharmaceuticals, Cnova and Gogo on NASDAQ.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Kelly worked at agencies in New York and Boston including GCI, The Portico Group and Miller/Shandwick Technologies and managed programs for a variety of companies ranging from industry leaders such as Compaq, IBM, Motorola, and The New York Times Digital, to recently-funded start-ups.

Ms. Kelly was also the senior publicist at Addison-Wesley/Prentice Hall for the publisher’s high tech authors and worked as a freelance writer with articles appearing in publications including Cape Cod Life and Mass High Tech. She started her career at Ziff-Davis Publishing Company at PCWeek (now eWeek) before moving onto ZDNet.

Ms. Kelly holds a B.A. in english and art history from Assumption College in Worcester and a M.A. in writing and publishing from Emerson College in Boston.
