Kevin McCadden is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Boston. He is part of the Health Solutions practice. Mr. McCadden has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He specializes in client service, project management and business development. He focuses on clients across the health care continuum (providers, payers, life sciences and research), including international sales, and has developed relationships across the United States in some of the most difficult markets.

Mr. McCadden has worked with healthcare facilities all over the United States, including academic medical centers, community hospitals, payers, higher education institutions, life science companies and research institutions, as well as several projects overseas. He has also been asked to, at different times, take over a major hospital chain relationship and assist in temporarily leading the development of clients in other markets. Mr. McCadden works within a variety of services, including performance improvement, perioperative services, supply chain, revenue cycle maximization, labor productivity, physician practice operations, coding and documentation, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, debt service coverage, pricing strategies, restructuring and turnaround, financial and capital planning, epic effectiveness, dispute investigations, regulatory compliance and research operations and effectiveness.

Mr. McCadden also has experience as a merger and acquisition consultant. He has valued more than 20 health care businesses for merger or acquisitions, including magnetic resonance imaging (“MRI”) centers, dialysis facilities, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and physician practices. He has provided risk-reduction, market strategy and revenue growth expansion advisory services to early-stage physician practice management companies preparing for their venture capital road shows. Mr. McCadden served as advisor to a venture capital firm on the financial/growth strategy viability of a dialysis investment. His experience also includes overseeing the development and maintenance of valuation models to analyze the financial impact of potential acquisitions.

Mr. McCadden holds a B.S. in Management from Bryant College and an M.B.A. in Healthcare and Finance from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association.
