Roger Scadron is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Los Angeles. Mr. Scadron is a member of the Telecom, Media and Technology practice. He has more than 25 years of industry experience, specializing in providing business diligence, performance analysis, financial restructuring and forensic investigations. 

Mr. Scadron has significant experience working with new media and entertainment companies including Digital Domain, Rhythm & Hues, RHI Entertainment, Echo Bridge Entertainment, Yari Film Group Releasing and the Halcyon Company. In the engagement for Halycon Company, Mr. Scadron advised on the sale of film rights and other intellectual property for Terminator Salvation—T4 during the company’s bankruptcy. In the case of Yari Film Group Releasing, the producer of Crash and other feature films, he worked on behalf of the creditors and the trustee to sell rights of various feature film titles.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Scadron was a Director in the Financial Advisory Services group for Price Waterhouse and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Scadron began his career in banking and commercial finance and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in originations, underwriting and portfolio management. Accordingly he has significant consulting experience in financial institutions.

Mr. Scadron has published extensively on telecommunications and entertainment industry convergence, as well as on the impacts of digital communications on online service providers, wireline carriers, cable companies and entertainment content companies. He has led industry research and spoken on the subject of broadband spectrum repurposing, net neutrality and other topics, focusing on their impact on the entertainment industry and industry investment trends.

Mr. Scadron holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School of Business of University of Pennsylvania. He has received Certification in Distressed Business Valuation and is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. Mr. Scadron also holds FINRA Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 licenses. Mr. Scadron is bilingual in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.
