Saurabh Joshi is a Senior Director in the Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting and is based in New Delhi.
Mr. Joshi has over 14 years of experience in government relations, public policy advocacy and regulatory matters. He has been actively involved in the shaping of the new CSR guidelines under the Companies Act 2015. Mr Joshi was also instrumental in bringing about Policy changes in the labour and employment state laws in order to enable late working of women in the BPO industry. He has actively engaged the Indian Government on various Policy matters concerning, internet governance, internet of things, cybersecurity, encryption, taxation, etc. Regulatory compliance management is another area of his expertise.
Prior to FTI Consulting, he was part of the in-house Government Affairs & Public Policy team at Accenture India, and led engagements with multiple central and state government ministries on behalf of Accenture, namely the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Communications & Information technology, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Railways. Mr. Joshi combines business development skills, selling telecom and technology solutions to government-owned enterprises, with his government relations expertise. Prior to Accenture, he has worked at Ericsson and Marconi in India. He also specialises in bid management, particularly with regard to government contracts.
Mr. Saurabh Joshi graduated in Electronics & Communications from Punjab Technical University and he holds an M.B.A. degree in Marketing from the International Management Institute, New Delhi. He has also done a certificate course from Indian Institute of Management, on negotiation skills.
He speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi.
