Sean M. Harding

Sean Harding specializes in advising senior management and boards of directors in revitalizing companies that are stagnant or underperforming. Mr. Harding has close to 20 years of experience, which includes industry expertise in a number of areas such as post-secondary education, food, agriculture and retail.

Mr. Harding has served as an advisor to companies and advised secured creditors in out-of-court restructurings and in formal bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Harding’s financial advisory services experience includes renegotiation of financing arrangements and covenant compliance, development and review of detailed financial and operational business turnaround plans, development and review of detailed 13-week cash flow projections, bankruptcy preparation services, product profitability analyses and cost reduction initiatives, including selling, general and administrative rationalization.

Mr. Harding has served as an officer in numerous restructuring engagements. Currently, Mr. Harding is serving as Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”) of a leading synthetic turf company. Mr. Harding recently served as CEO and CRO to Anthem Education, a $250 million revenue for-profit college with 41 campuses. Additionally, Mr. Harding served as Senior Vice President of Restructuring to Zacky Farms, an integrated chicken and turkey processor. Mr. Harding recently served as Senior Vice President of restructuring to Cagle’s Inc., a vertically integrated chicken processor. In this capacity he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company. This includes managing liquidity and correspondence with vendors, customers and lenders. He is currently serving as their liquidating agent.

Additional examples of Mr. Harding’s recovery and turnaround experience include acting as: financial advisor to a newspaper publisher; financial advisor to a leading seafood processor; Senior Vice President of Restructuring to Allen Family Foods; financial advisor to a $1.1 billion revenue poultry processor; restructuring advisor to the 3rd largest hog producer in the country; financial advisor to a $1.4 billion revenue turkey processing company; secured lender advisor to Pilgrim’s Pride, an $8.8 billion chicken processor; restructuring advisor to FPL Foods, a $300 million revenue fully integrated beef processor; restructuring advisor to Burger King Corporate and numerous franchisees and restructuring advisor to numerous Pizza Hut franchisees.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Harding was a Manager with the U.S. division of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Business Recovery Services practice.
