Timothy Eickhoff is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Chicago. He is a member of the Transaction Services practice within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment.

Mr. Eickhoff has assisted financial and strategic buyers, private equity investors, lending institutions, investment banks and operating companies in more than 100 transactions, ranging in size from $10 million to more than $3 billion.

Mr. Eickhoff has assisted both strategic and financial buyers in evaluating acquisition opportunities, including analyses of historical and forecasted operating results and quality of earnings assessments. He also has extensive experience in securitization and asset-based lending in a variety of industries, including healthcare, retail, automotive, energy, manufacturing and credit card processing services.

In addition, Mr. Eickhoff has assisted with the initial due diligence of borrowers’ potential collateral and identification of ineligible assets. He also has provided monitoring services, including analyzing monthly reports and identifying ineligible transactions that were not specified in the loan or securitization documents.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Eickhoff worked in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice of Deloitte & Touche. During his tenure, he was primarily focused on performing financial statement audits of both public and private companies, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits in the automotive, chemical manufacturing, food distribution and consumer and industrial products and services industries.

Mr. Eickhoff holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
