William Tusa is a Managing Director with FTI Consulting. He is part of the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and works in the Construction Solutions practice. Mr. Tusa has extensive experience providing a wide range of construction consulting and advisory services.

Mr. Tusa’s experience includes the preparation, monitoring and analysis of schedules and programs for construction projects both nationally and internationally. Mr. Tusa has provided program advisory services to executive level leadership and construction management personnel in the areas of process improvement, performance evaluation, CPM development, change order analysis, claim preservation and prevention, cost assessment, project control (cost and schedule) implementation, contract management, dispute resolution and project close out.

Mr. Tusa has more than 25 years of experience providing strategic project advice. Mr. Tusa represents clients in the construction industry throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and the Caribbean. Mr. Tusa’s construction industry experience and dispute resolution on large complex construction projects has created significant value for clients through the preparation of expert reports, construction cost analysis, productivity tracking and measurement, and expert testimony regarding schedule delay. Mr. Tusa spent the first part of his career managing facility expansions and working directly for an EPC Electrical firm in Colorado. Since 1996, he has owned and worked for professional services companies like Brower, Kriz & Stynchcomb to provide guidance and consultation to improve the financial outcomes of their clients’ projects.

As part of his work with FTI Consulting, Mr. Tusa’s services include organizational readiness assessments, contract development and management, capital project risk management, improvement of project delivery, performance/ progress monitoring, cost analysis, implementation of project controls, and dispute resolution.

Mr. Tusa has been examined and certified by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineers (AACEI) in the area of planning and scheduling and has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry.
