About Paul
Paul Inglis is a Senior Managing Director in the FTI Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice and Chair of the UK Restructuring business. Mr. Inglis has more than 30 years of restructuring experience in both the public and private sectors, advising creditors and corporates. He has been involved in numerous multistakeholder, highly complex financial restructuring assignments across a broad range of industries and geographies.
Mr. Inglis’ experience includes strategic, operational and financial assessments; crisis management and stabilization; assessment of management teams; financial restructuring and refinancing; multitiered stakeholder management; and complex stakeholder options analysis.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Inglis was a restructuring partner at Ernst & Young. Before that, he worked at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Inglis is a chartered accountant and is a member of both the Institute for Turnaround and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a B.A. with Honours in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield.
Relevant Experience:
- Advised the Lenders to Royal IHC, a global shipbuilding business through a WHOA in the Netherlands courts
- Advised the private placement noteholders in relation to three separate UK-listed support services/construction groups
- Advised the Revolving Credit Facilities (“RCF”) lenders to Debenhams plc, the UK-listed department store operator
- Advised the lenders to Mothercare plc in relation to the separation of the UK retail and overseas franchise operations
- Advised the board of a private equity-owned food processing business
- Advised the lenders to a UK-listed speciality printing business with global operations and material pension deficit
- Advised the lenders to the UK’s largest listed property services business through a sale to a competitor
- Advised the senior lenders in relation to the restructuring of a number of Opco/Propco structures in the healthcare and leisure space
- Advised a UK bank in relation to its material exposure to a privately owned conglomerate
- Advised the senior lenders to three separate European-headquartered oilfield services business
