About Carol
Carol Kaiser-Worthey specializes in technology-related disputes, leading investigations on failed software implementations, leaked technology trade secrets and outsourced technology services, as well as opining on damages related to technology disputes.
Ms. Kaiser-Worthey supports her clients through litigation by reviewing project management plans and system requirements. Additionally, she interviews clients to get an understanding of the software implementation process and internal controls. Her experience facilitating change and writing requirements from the client side allows her to see the big picture and find places where there may be errors or missteps.
Ms. Kaiser-Worthey has extensive experience writing expert reports and forming opinions related to software and other technology matters, including IT outsourcing. With a background in finance, accounting, change management, IT and HR management, she brings deep understanding of processes and process improvements to aid in technology-related investigations and disputes. Having developed her skillset from a variety of perspectives, Ms. Kaiser-Worthey is an impactful leader and contributor to critical projects, as well as an effective communicator at the executive and board levels. In addition, she is skilled in calculating damages in failed system implementation cases.
Ms. Kaiser-Worthey holds a B.A. in finance from the University of Portland and a M.Acc. from the University of Oregon. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Oregon.

- Opined on damages related to a failed transfer of historical data into a new enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) system
- Led an investigation of a failed SAP implementation in a growing Latin American country
- Led an investigation for a Fortune 500 implementor being sued for an alleged system implementation failure
- Led an investigation to demonstrate how an outsourced IT services firm breached its contract
- Worked in international arbitration, jury trial, bench trial, arbitration and pre-dispute mediations
- Led investigation of Trade Secret Code theft accusation of a health care software
