About Darragh
Darragh O’Neill brings more than a decade of experience advising clients across a wide range of transactions and performance improvement initiatives. Darragh has led and supported over 50 engagements across sectors including automotive, consumer products, healthcare, industrials, power and utilities (“P&U”) and telecom, media and technology (“TMT”), among others.
Darragh specializes in both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients. His transaction experience also extends to distressed M&A processes, including 363 asset sales. In addition to transaction advisory, Darragh has significant expertise in turnaround and business transformation initiatives. He has worked with distressed companies and lenders to deliver critical insights through 13-week cash flow modeling, SKU and four-wall profitability analysis, and scenario planning. His work frequently includes providing hands-on support to C-suite executives.
Beyond transactions and restructuring, Darragh has led enterprise-wide transformation programs focused on operating model redesign, cost takeout strategies and regulatory support. He began his career in audit, performing both controls-based and substantive procedures for public and private entities. Darragh brings a data-driven, analytical approach to each engagement, distilling complex financial and operational information into actionable insights and value creation opportunities.
Relevant Experience:
- Led buy-side platform and bolt-on engagements for clients in the consumer products, healthcare, industrials, TMT and P&U sectors
- Led sell-side private equity and corporate engagements, including carve outs, for clients in the aerospace and defense, consumer products, healthcare, industrials and TMT sectors
- Advised a distressed automotive client; provided three-statement modeling, four-wall profitability, SKU profitability analysis and ad-hoc CFO/COO support
- Advised a distressed lender on 13-week cash flow modeling, vendor analysis, liquidation analysis, debtor-in-possession (“DIP”) modeling and pre-pack bankruptcy proceedings
- Led a reorganization and cost takeout engagement for a sports organization within the education sector; included operating model assessment, non-healthcare cost analysis, financial modeling and forecasting
- Led various business transformation engagements including operating model redesign, financial modeling and regulatory filing support for P&U and professional services clients
