Mark Reimer

Mark Reimer is a Senior Managing Director with more than 15 years of international experience helping chemical and industrial clients drive strategic value creation through business transformation, enterprise performance improvement and operational excellence, often in environments of strategic disruption and complexity.

Mark combines deep chemical sector expertise with strong leadership in corporate strategy, transformation execution, M&A value creation and performance improvement, enabling boards and executive teams to deliver sustainable growth and measurable performance outcomes. His experience spans corporates, investor-owned businesses and mid-cap and family-owned companies across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. Mark has led multiyear, multistakeholder transformation programs with measurable P&L and competitive impact — including global strategy rollouts, post-merger integrations, carve-outs, organizational redesigns and digital-enabled performance initiatives.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mark was Energy & Chemicals Consulting Sector Lead at a leading global professional services firm, where he shaped and scaled strategy and transformation offerings, led high-impact client engagements and expanded the firm’s chemicals footprint. Additionally, he led the Corporate & Business Unit Strategy market offering in Germany. Earlier in his career, Mark was a strategy consultant at a leading strategy consulting firm in South America and Germany. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (“UNICAMP”) and is fluent in English, German and Portuguese.
