Sai Mani

Sai Mani has 20 years of experience in transactions advisory, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, asset management, project management, business performance improvement and due diligence advisory. Mr. Mani’s industry experience includes energy and industrials, oilfield services, chemicals, semiconductors and manufacturing.

Mr. Mani has extensive experience across business functions, industries and geographies, helping clients improve performance and identify risks that may affect transactions. His expertise includes end to end transaction management, business plan reviews, operational due diligence, strategic sourcing, operational efficiency improvement, project management and process design. He has advised public and private companies on identifying opportunities to create value and achieve operational improvements.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Mani worked at Alvarez & Marsal in its Corporate Performance Improvement practice, advising clients on evaluating business performance and identifying cost savings opportunities. Previously, he spent 13 years at Schlumberger in various positions within its downhole technology groups across the United States, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan and Tunisia.

Relevant Experience:

• Led integration management and $500 million synergy validation for a for a $22 billion public semiconductor transaction, supporting integration management activities between signing and closing
• Evaluated labor costs, location profitability and selling, general and administrative expenses for a $100 million oilfield services carve-out and led the integration management office for an $800 million environmental services company
• Supported due diligence for the carve-out and stand up of a $400 million aerospace and defense manufacturer from its $15 billion public parent company, including supporting its transition services agreement exit and setting up shared service functions
• Led buy-side operational diligence for a $450 million North American chemical company and evaluated acquisition synergies for a private equity-owned lighting company
• Assessed asset management and maintenance efficiency for a $40 million industrial gas plant in Asia and benchmarked operations for a $5 billion public oil and gas company’s South Texas asset sale
• Conducted product-line carve-out diligence for a private equity-owned healthcare technology startup and integration planning for a $200 million lighting company carved out of a German conglomerate
• Established back-office shared services for a $400 million public oilfield services company and supported the carve-out of a gas pipe manufacturing division from a $1 billion public company
