Emma Fishburn is an experienced advisor who supports businesses, governments, investors and market bodies across the energy sector. Emma specialises in helping clients navigate and strategically position for emerging opportunities and challenges in Australia’s evolving energy markets.

Emma’s expertise spans energy market strategy and analysis, industry and market reform, regulatory and economic advice, commercial and financial advisory and broader business strategy. She works with clients across government, regulatory bodies, market institutions and leading organisations, providing guidance that helps shape policy, investment decisions and market design.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2022, Emma held senior roles across government, energy market bodies and consulting firms. She led Deloitte’s Energy Advisory team in Sydney and previously worked with the Australian Energy Market Commission and the Commonwealth Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism.
