Lars Faeste

Lars Faeste specialises in company transformations, special situations and crisis, having supported more than 15 end-to-end successful transformations, often generating two-to-three times their valuation over 18–36 months. He has worked with clients globally, including in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. Throughout his career, Lars has been responsible for advising on large-scale transformations, complex turnaround projects and major disruptions.

Lars has served on the global executive committees of both FTI Consulting, as Chairman of the EMEA region, and Boston Consulting Group (“BCG”), as Client Chair and Global Transformation Leader. He joined FTI Consulting in 2022 following a 24-year career at BCG, where he led a number of successful programs, including the firm’s global transformation practice and its businesses in Greater China, the Nordics and the Commonwealth of Independent States. He also founded BCG TURN (now BCG Transform) and sat on BCG’s global ExCom.

Lars, a Danish native, lives in the UK and has previously lived in the United States, China, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Russia and Africa, where he grew up. Prior to consulting, Lars worked at A.P. Moller Maersk. He holds an Engineering degree from the Technical University of Denmark, DTU, and an M.B.A. from the Rotterdam School of Management at the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
