Darin Miller

Darin Miller is a Senior Managing Director in the Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) practice and co-leads the Technology vertical, bringing more than 25 years of experience in business transformation, transactions and executive leadership.

Darin has deep expertise in strategic planning, organization transformation, revenue growth, operations management, merger integration and transaction diligence. He has led large-scale transformation and integration efforts for Fortune 500 corporations, mid-market companies and private-equity-backed businesses. As an advisor to the C-suite, and as an interim chief executive officer, he has led organizations to define and execute new business models, accelerate growth and transform operating models to support strategic objectives.

Darin has successfully led engagements in sectors including technology solutions, software (“SaaS”), media, entertainment, renewable energy, telecommunications, commercial services distribution, logistics and light industrial. His functional experience spans all facets of enterprise value creation. He has developed and executed go-to-market strategies encompassing market assessments, product strategy and portfolio optimization, customer segmentation and engagement, pricing, and salesforce effectiveness. Additionally, he has led initiatives to streamline SG&A, supply chain and working capital performance — delivering sustainable EBITDA improvement and enhanced returns on invested capital.

Darin is a recognized speaker on topics including data analytics, value creation approaches, asset management and continuous improvement, drawing on Lean Six Sigma and economic principles.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Miller held a senior role in the Economics practice of AECOM, a global design and engineering firm. Over the course of 10 years, he advised corporations, start-ups, federal and defense agencies and municipalities on market analysis, economic and capital planning, real estate, and operations management.
