Josh Sol, MBA

Josh Sol brings nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology (“IT”) and digital transformation, with deep expertise in leveraging digital innovation to enhance healthcare organizations. Mr. Sol has experience aligning IT, operational and innovative insights to develop unique strategies across healthcare operations, patient access and revenue cycle and clinical areas. Additionally, he has managed full lifecycle implementations — from system selection through operational optimization — and is adept at applying artificial intelligence in impactful ways.

A trailblazer in digital business and clinical transformation, Mr. Sol is dedicated to delivering measurable ROI through cost reduction, quality improvement and revenue enhancement, all while maintaining a consumer-centric approach. At FTI Consulting, he has spearheaded numerous digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that innovations align with organizational culture and drive tangible results. Notably, he has worked with clients such as Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami to develop their innovation department and a go-to-market strategy for commercialized products. Additionally, Mr. Sol has led digital assessments and due diligence reviews, created go-to-market strategies, optimized technology and managed system selections to elevate clients’ digital maturity.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Sol served as Administrative Director for Ambulatory Clinical Systems and Innovation at Houston Methodist for 12 years. Prior to that, Mr. Sol led IT and operations for ValleyCare Health System in Northern California. His career highlights include leading full lifecycle implementations of EMR systems such as NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Athena and Epic, with a particular emphasis on expanding Epic across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Mr. Sol’s expertise spans a wide range of business and clinical functions, including patient access and engagement, revenue cycle automation, clinical efficiencies, population health strategies, virtual healthcare, data interoperability and mobile and medical device solutions. Mr. Sol is committed to creating genuine value by enhancing physician and patient engagement, aligning technology needs and driving operational efficiencies.

Relevant Experience:

• Led a team to achieve milestones such as HIMSS Stage 7 in the Outpatient EMR Adoption Model (“OERAM”) and CHIME's "Most Wired" recognition in ambulatory clinical technology
