Rowan Strain

Rowan Strain is a Senior Managing Director in the Healthcare & Human Services practice, leading and delivering digital transformation projects for public and private healthcare providers and government agencies.

Rowan’s experience spans the full project lifecycle, from strategy and business case development through to end-to-end implementation and benefits realisation. He works with clients on front-office and back-office transformations, as well as clinical information systems.

Rowan is passionate about better enabling staff to perform their roles and using technology to enhance the overall consumer experience.

Relevant Experience:

• Led the development of major digital health business cases and strategic plans, including economic analysis, stakeholder engagement and benefits realisation
• Directed the end-to-end delivery of large-scale electronic medical record programmes across multiple health service sites
• Developed and implemented digital health strategies, technology roadmaps and governance frameworks to support statewide and regional transformation
• Delivered complex digital health and information and communications technology initiatives across the project lifecycle, from startup and planning to delivery and change management
• Provided strategic oversight and leadership for portfolio management, procurement reform and digital programme recovery across health and government sectors
