Ollie Gower

Ollie Gower is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in building and leading global cyber crime and fraud response efforts in the public and private sectors. Mr. Gower has a proven track record in overseeing complex cyber incidents and investigations, building high-performing cyber teams, developing cutting-edge cyber strategies and fostering strong public-private partnerships on cybersecurity.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Gower served as the Head of the Global Cyber Emergency Response Team (“CERT”) in Grupo Santander, leading the Global CERT function worldwide, including cyber incident response, forensic investigations and insider threats. He also held leadership positions including Global Head of Cyber Investigations & Forensics, Global Head of Public-Private Partnerships and Head of Cyber Intelligence and Purple Team.

Mr. Gower previously held several high-profile law enforcement roles, including Deputy Director for Cyber at the United Kingdom's National Crime Agency (“NCA”) and Head of the National Cyber Crime Unit (“NCCU”), where he spearheaded efforts to identify, disrupt and respond to the most serious cyber threats. Under his leadership, the United Kingdom saw a significant improvement in its cyber crime intelligence gathering and disruption efforts. Additionally, he represented the UK at the global cyber intelligence sharing forum, FiveEyes.

Preceding these roles, Mr. Gower served as the elected Chair of the European Union Cybercrime Task Force (“EUCTF”). The task force was composed of the heads of all cyber crime police units across the EU. In this role, he was instrumental in designing, building and leading the UK’s cyber crime response from 2012 to 2018, overseeing a programme of investment of $100 million in local and regional digital policing. He acted as the Gold Commander for law enforcement during major cyber incidents, such as the worldwide WannaCry ransomware attack, advising senior government ministers on cyber threats and helping to create the UK cybersecurity strategy.
