Marion Lespiau has 14 years of professional experience in financial and accounting matters. Marion’s work involves quantifying lost profits or wasted costs, and valuing businesses in contentious situations. She has acted as expert in her own name and has supported other experts in preparing their evidence.
Marion is a lawyer by background, which gives her a unique perspective and an ability to work efficiently with lawyers. She is particularly skilled at drafting expert reports and presenting expert evidence clearly and concisely.
Marion has worked across a wide range of industry sectors, including property investment, construction, retail, energy (including gas, nuclear, wind and oil), manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, aviation and private equity. She has experience in small and large cases, with claims ranging from USD500,000 to USD600 million.
Marion holds Chartered Accountancy qualifications in France and in England and Wales. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Marion is a native French speaker.
Marion currently serves as Treasurer and member of the Board of ArbitralWomen.
