Paul Brown specializes in advising clients on commercial strategy, operations, sales and marketing. Mr. Brown has 25 years of experience in retail, logistics, mail and parcels and consulting. Mr. Brown's focus is in sales management, corporate strategy, new product and business development and category management with profit and loss accountability.
Mr. Brown has deep sector knowledge in the Mail and Parcels industry at an operational and strategic level attained through his experience at Royal Mail and Post Office Ltd and multiple consulting client engagements in the sector. He has worked closely with clients in multiple industries and sectors including; chemicals, oil and gas, mining, healthcare, retail, consumer goods and leisure.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Brown has led several complex projects. They have included business strategy reviews (including market scanning and forecasting, operational efficiency, overhead optimisation and commercial performance), merger and integration planning and implementation, synergy reviews, cost optimisation and commercial strategy.
Throughout Mr. Brown's career, he has advised a broad variety of corporate and private equity clients across multiple sectors specializing in transforming commercial strategy, sales and marketing and operations. He joined FTI Consulting from PwC where he was a Consultant in their Delivering Deal Value team.
Mr. Brown has performed several senior roles prior to becoming a consultant, including Chief Commercial Officer, Strategy Director and business unit Managing Director. He has detailed knowledge of operations, strategy, sales and marketing, having held senior industry roles at Royal Mail Group and Post Office Ltd in the UK. He started his career in retail with Sainsbury’s.
