Stewart Federman

Stewart Federman is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice and is based in London.

Stewart has over 14 years of experience in both the public and private sectors advising creditors, investors and boards. He has performed advisory services across a range of sectors including financial services, professional services, retail, manufacturing and energy.

Stewart’s experience includes strategic operational and financial assessments, stakeholder options analysis, financial restructuring and stakeholder management. He has been involved in a number of highly complex restructuring assignments across a broad range of industries and geographies. Examples of his engagements include: a global oilfield services business with revenues of c.€1.7bn, a listed construction and engineering business with sales of c.€4.5bn, a c.£7bn turnover UK food retail business, and a c.£400m listed professional services firm. During his time at FTI Stewart has also completed a 12 month secondment to the Restructuring team at Barclays Bank Plc. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Stewart worked in Deloitte’s Financial Services Group.

Stewart holds a B.A. with honours in Industrial Economics from Nottingham University. He is also a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
