Guillaume Gilbert has specialised in discovery for more than 17 years. Mr. Gilbert assists French and international corporate clients, as well as their legal counsel, in conducting internal and regulatory investigations. He also helps clients respond to various information requests from government authorities.
Throughout his career in the e-discovery industry, Mr. Gilbert has addressed an array of legal support matters, including internal investigations, due diligence, litigation, competition, cartel, compliance, arbitration, intellectual property, fraud and data subject access requests.
Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Gilbert was Chief Operating Officer of Discovery and Computer Forensics for organisations located in France, Belgium and Switzerland. He also spent four years in London working for Unified, a discovery firm, where he oversaw projects’ technical specifications and the implementation of best practices. Just before joining FTI Technology, Mr. Gilbert led the Discovery practice of Deloitte France for six years.
Relevant Experience:
- Managed many discovery and email review projects in the context of internal investigations (litigation, fraud, corruption, competition) and compliance reviews following information requests from authorities in France, Europe and the United States
- Coordinated several international discovery and data collection engagements involving several teams across the globe
- Participated in one of the largest discovery engagements in Europe (more than 25,000 custodians), with responsibility over the review platform infrastructure at a turning point of the project
