Katarina Punovuori is an economist with more than 10 years of experience advising and supporting clients in matters related to economic regulation, competition and consumer policy.
Katarina provides economic analysis on a wide range of issues to companies, law firms, investors and public institutions, including in the context of regulatory policy development, market design and market reviews. She also advises clients involved in disputes, investigations and class actions and helps facilitate commercial transactions.
Katarina has broad experience across industries, including energy, telecoms, payments, technology, media and healthcare. At FTI Consulting, she focuses on network companies and platforms operating in digital markets and other innovative industries.
Katarina has contributed economic analysis to publicly available policy documents, business cases and investment cases, as well as in support of legal proceedings in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Prior to FTI Consulting, Katarina worked in PwC’s Economics and Policy practice. She has also held economic roles at a major European payments company and at Monitor, the health sector regulator for England.
