Martin Wong

Martin Wong is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Southeast Asia Corporate Finance segment at FTI Consulting and is based in Singapore. 

Martin brings over 24 years of experience in rehabilitative corporate restructuring and insolvency administration involving judicial management appointments, schemes of arrangement, receiverships, voluntary and court liquidation. He also engages in business advisory services, assisting underperforming corporations improve financial performance. 

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Martin was a Partner and Head of the Restructuring & Insolvency practice at a Big Four firm in Singapore, where he led some of the largest local and international restructuring and insolvency appointments including the likes of Lehman Brothers in Asia Pacific, numerous listed entities and large privately held organizations with extensive offshore operations. 

Throughout his career, Martin has gained extensive experience in dealing with complex cross- border enforcement and recovery issues. His international experience extends to cover the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Bermuda, BVI, Cayman Islands, Italy, Germany, the Peoples’ Republic of China (“PRC”), Taiwan, Japan, Republic of South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, India, the United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica and Columbia.
