Tanya Meerovich specializes in providing financial and strategic solutions to companies, sponsors, investors, creditors and other stakeholders. Tanya works with both public and private companies and has led numerous in-court and out-of-court restructuring engagements across various industries, including financial services, real estate, nonprofit, insurance, healthcare, education, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, print, entertainment, retail and distribution. Ms. Meerovich also has extensive experience in interim management roles, acting as Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”), Chief Transformation Officer (“CTO”), Windup Director and Liquidating Trustee.
Ms. Meerovich has extensive experience assisting senior management teams and various stakeholders in developing and implementing business and restructuring plans, stabilizing operations, developing liquidity forecasts and cash management, identifying and addressing underperforming operations, sourcing new debt and designing and executing strategic transactions, including the disposition of non-core operations as well as entire business enterprises.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Meerovich was in the financial services advisory group of RSM Cayman Islands, where she was involved in a number of high-profile and complex cross-border insolvency engagements in the financial services sector. Previously, Ms. Meerovich worked for a securities broker-dealer in the Chicago area. Ms. Meerovich is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”), a Certified Fraud Examiner (“CFE”), a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (“CIRA”) and a Certified Turnaround Professional (“CTP”). She also previously held NASD Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses.
Ms. Meerovich serves as vice chair of Turnaround Management Association’s certification oversight committee and a member of the audit committee. She also served on several boards, including the New York Chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (“IWIRC”) and Rock & Rawhide, a nonprofit organization. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (“ABI”), the Association for Financial Professionals (“AFP”), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (“ACFE”), the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (“AIRA”), the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
