Hrvoje Muhek specializes in supporting and guiding stakeholders with respect to proposed reorganizations and business transformation efforts. Mr. Muhek’s expertise includes developing and reviewing business plans, developing integrated three-way models and 13-week cash flow forecasts, preparing complex financial analyses, performing financial due diligence, and interim management support within the finance organization.
Mr. Muhek recent experience includes advising a regional Canadian telecom provider with respect to a balance sheet restructuring, business plan review and negotiations with key vendors in a loss-generating segment. Prior to that, he was interim financial planning & analysis (“FP&A”) Director, Operations and Supply Chain for a $1 billion global industrial manufacturing client undergoing business transformation efforts due to global supply chain disruptions.
Mr. Muhek has far-reaching experience stretching over multiple sectors including airline, consumer lending, homebuilding, hospitality, manufacturing, media, oil and gas, real estate, retail, SaaS and telecom. His restructuring experience has consisted of advising debtors and lenders during times of financial distress including assessing and developing business plans and forecasts, negotiating with and managing stakeholders, and developing and implementing formal plans of reorganization.
Mr. Muhek also has significant experience in interim management roles, where he served as a trusted partner creating a strong link between the finance organization and operations. He is skilled at working cross-functionally to assist the management in improving overall business performance, preparing annual budgets and project feasibility studies, and improving monthly performance reporting and forecasting processes.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Muhek was the General Manager and Director of FP&A for Canadian operations of a global hospitality chain.
