On 30 June 2025, the Court appointed the Official Receiver as Liquidator of Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery Limited, Prax Storage Lindsey Limited and Prax Terminals Killingholme Limited. The Court subsequently appointed the Official Receiver as Liquidator of Prax Terminals Jarrow Limited on 22 July 2025 and of Prax Downstream UK Limited on 12 November 2025. Following applications by the Official Receiver, the Court appointed Matthew Callaghan, Jo Hewitt, Sam Ballinger and Andrew Johnson of FTI Consulting LLP as special managers (“the Special Managers”) to assist the Official Receiver in his duties as Liquidator. Matthew Boyd Callaghan, Joanne Hewitt-Schembri, Samuel Alexander Ballinger and Andrew James Johnson (“the Special Managers”) have been appointed as special managers by the High Court to help manage the affairs, business and property of Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery Limited, Prax Terminals Killingholme Limited, Prax Storage Lindsey Limited, Prax Terminals Jarrow Limited and Prax Downstream UK Limited ("the Companies"), in accordance with the powers and duties contained in the order appointing them. The Special Managers act as agents of the Companies, without personal liability. All are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
