Eun Suk Oh

Eun Suk Oh leads the Structures & Analytics team within the Real Estate Solutions practice, specializing in real estate joint ventures, private equity funds and development projects. Mr. Oh assists clients with transaction underwriting, deal structuring, asset and partnership dispositions and ongoing reporting, asset management and restructuring.

Mr. Oh has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry and has analyzed numerous acquisitions, recapitalizations, mergers, IPOs and restructurings involving real estate portfolios and companies. He has also led projects in development consulting, financial due diligence, equity and debt restructuring, litigation support and other real estate-related matters.

Mr. Oh’s recent work includes several restructuring projects where he represented Korean lenders. Navigating through the conflicting interests of multiple stakeholders, he has led the negotiations of deal terms and contributed to the successful restructuring of the tranches he represented.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Oh was an investment manager at a development company analyzing and executing acquisitions, transactions and due diligence. Preceding this role, he worked as an architect at Greenberg Farrow Architects in New York City, where he led the design and oversaw the construction of several residential and mixed-use buildings. Additionally, Mr. Oh possesses extensive knowledge of New York City zoning, building codes and construction technology.

Relevant Experience:

• Led a joint venture model rollout project for a U.S.-based real estate asset manager, replacing hundreds of legacy models for streamlined use
• Led the development of distribution and projection models for private equity funds with complex fee structures
• Worked on the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy case; helped maximize recoveries for unsecured creditors from the managed liquidation of $23 billion of real estate financial assets collateralized by commercial and residential properties
