Jeremy Riley

Jeremy Riley has a vast knowledge of the insurance sector and leads market entry engagements for existing and new market participants, trade and private equity backed M&A transactions.

Jeremy has over 30 years of experience within the UK, international and emerging insurance markets.

During his career, Jeremy has led over eighty acquisitions and disposals of insurers and brokers, including IPOs across multiple jurisdictions. He has also conducted multiple market and distribution assessments of growth opportunities for insurers, mutuals, MGAs and brokers.

Jeremy has in-depth line management experience of all critical business functions, including strategy, distribution, M&A, run off, finance, capital underwriting, reinsurance claims, risk and operations. He has undertaken and delivered an extensive range of programmes for global insurance clients, which have included strategy development, restructuring, government risk and remediation, business planning, cost transformation, portfolio restructuring, claims and underwriting transformations, organisational design and operations transformation.

Jeremy is a strategic advisor to Board Members, Chief Executives, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Executive teams across the general and life insurance sectors in the UK and internationally.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he held CEO, CFO, COO and CRO roles for multinational FTSE insurance groups.
