Scott Bingham

Scott Bingham serves as the Global Co-Leader of the Transactions practice, encompassing pre-deal and post-deal services. Mr. Bingham founded the Transactions practice in 2006 and has almost tripled the revenue of its North American business in the last five years by building out a comprehensive suite of service offerings, including strategy, investment banking, valuations, comprehensive due diligence (commercial, financial, tax, operational, IT, compensation and benefits), interim management, human capital advisory, tax advisory, integration support and carve-out support.

Mr. Bingham has provided clients with acquisition advice on engagements for more than 30 years, the last 20 of which have been with FTI Consulting. Throughout his career, he has assisted private equity and corporate clients throughout the deal continuum, including in the identification of potential targets, due diligence, contract structuring and negotiations, and transition planning. He has also served in many post-deal roles, which has included providing integration support, financial advisory to lenders and interim chief financial officer (“CFO”) support.

Mr. Bingham has also taken a lead role in developing FTI Consulting’s Healthcare Integrated Diligence platform, which combines financial and tax due diligence, clinical and compliance diligence and operational assessments.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Bingham was a Managing Director in the Advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”). In this role, he helped start the Atlanta office of the Transaction Services practice and was the Practice Leader for the Healthcare Transaction Consulting practice.

Relevant Experience:

• Supported major clients, including Comvest Partners; Flowers Foods; Goldman Sachs; H.I.G. Capital; and many others
• Served as a successful testifying expert on several purchase price dispute cases on behalf of private equity and Fortune 500® companies
• Acted as interim financial advisor and CFO for a distressed pharmaceuticals business; achievements included successfully refinancing the business and tripling EBITDA
