About Alanna
Alanna Fishman serves as a Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting and is based in Denver. Ms. Fishman advises clients on the evolution of their ESG strategies and tailoring solutions to the unique needs of their organization. She also provides guidance and leadership around internal and external stakeholder engagement priorities and change management best practices. A frequent speaker and author on ESG, Ms. Fishman routinely engages with institutions, professionals and students across a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Fishman was a Vice President at Cornerstone Government Affairs, where she led the firm’s ESG practice. She has significant experience advising Boards of Directors and leadership teams on ESG strategy, engagement and communications. She also led client service integration across Cornerstone’s Communications and Government Relations practices.
Ms. Fishman started her career at IHS Markit, a global data and advisory company, as a project manager implementing their SAP solution. She then joined Newmont Mining, the world’s largest gold mining company, as a global business analyst, supporting corporate environmental compliance due diligence, organizational change management and stakeholder engagement projects. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Ms. Fishman was the Director of Policy and Social Responsibility at HBW Resources, an energy-focused national consulting firm.
Ms. Fishman holds a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Policy from Miami University and an M.S. in Global Economics and Energy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (“SAIS”).
