About Ken
Ken Oliver brings more than 25 years of experience assisting clients and legal teams across the globe with forensic investigation, data acquisition and developing complex technology workflows. Mr. Oliver has investigated and forensically acquired data from more than 45 countries for various litigations, investigations and regulatory proceedings. He partners with legal teams to provide intricate forensic and technological consulting for all types of complex matters including antitrust, employment, intellectual property theft, trade secret misappropriations and white-collar crime investigations.
Working with clients across the globe, Mr. Oliver develops defensible custom solutions for collecting, acquiring and reviewing data stored in disparate and proprietary systems. By aligning system interfaces with underlying data infrastructure, he designs creative and scalable workflows tailored to high-risk, high-volume matters, while maintaining defensibility throughout. He has testified in U.S. federal court and supports legal teams with affidavits and expert declarations.
Mr. Oliver has led engagements across six continents, providing expert support on hundreds of legal matters, including more than 100 IP theft and trade secret misappropriation cases, more than 50 antitrust matters and several high-profile Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations. He also brings significant experience navigating the regulatory, logistical and cultural complexities of cross-border data acquisition. Mr. Oliver is well-versed in privacy regulations across the European Union, U.K. and Latin America regions and routinely advises on strategies for defensible collection, processing and transfer of personal data under U.S. legal scrutiny.
Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Oliver held senior roles at Consilio, Forensic Risk Alliance and The Oliver Group, where he built forensic service lines, established international operations and developed remote mobile collection protocols. His early leadership managing forensic collections during the Enron/Andersen investigation involved thousands of devices over a two-year period and helped establish his foundation in complex casework.
In addition to his technical leadership, Ken is committed to developing the next generation of forensic professionals. He has created training programs and mentored early-career examiners to cultivate both technological creativity and defensible investigative practices.
