About Oliver
Oliver Müller is a senior corporate reputation expert with over a decade of consulting experience, Oliver advises clients in business-critical situations. His expertise spans crisis and litigation communication, issues management, and corporate affairs, as well as corporate and Chief Executive Officer positioning in a digitalised media environment.
Oliver helps companies navigate business challenges that require integrated multi-stakeholder communication to shape debates and build trust among customers, partners, staff, investors and politicians. He leads complex assignments in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and crisis and litigation mandates that make international headlines. He develops responses to pressure group campaigns and supports corporations, as well as their C-suite executives, in getting heard on topics that resonate with societies.
Oliver has particular experience in the healthcare and life sciences, aerospace and defence, industrials, and mobility and logistics sectors.
Oliver joined FTI Consulting as a Managing Director in 2015 after having held country leadership positions at strategic communications consultancies in Germany and Asia. His professional background includes a decade-long career as a journalist at business daily Handelsblatt, for which he also served as a foreign correspondent in India and China.
Oliver studied French and English literature as well as linguistics at the universities of Bucknell (U.S.) and Heidelberg, graduated with an M.A. equivalent degree and completed a journalism traineeship.
