A $1.5 billion fleet management and services company sought to establish a standalone profit and loss (“P&L”) center for its leasing business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) and engaged FTI Consulting to build the benefits case, design the operating model and stand up the new organization.
Our Impact
- FTI Consulting identified more than $125 million in annual net cash impact by 2028 through 13 revenue growth levers and two cost levers.
- With the new business unit established, the client expects to achieve 4.0% earnings per share (“EPS”) accretion.
- The new operating model designed by FTI Consulting streamlined key processes across 15 functions and more than 75 capability areas in the new cross-border organization.
- Presence in EMEA allows for stronger alliances and partnerships with mobility and leasing leaders and customers beyond the client’s core North American business.
Our Role
- FTI Consulting led the full design of a capability-driven operating model, organizational structure and change management program across 15 functional areas.
- FTI Consulting outlined more than 15 high-impact target-state use cases, built over 30 role profiles and advised the client on developing more than 100 detailed process flows to govern the new operating model.
- Our experts developed the business case and end-to-end roadmap for establishing the business unit, which included steps for forming the new entity, hiring and selecting an office location in Ireland.
- Our cross-functional team coordinated with the client’s tax and legal partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risks, actions and plans for the business unit stand-up was efficiently managed.
