About Andrew
Andrew Williams is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment and is based in London. As a corporate reputation specialist, Mr. Williams provides communications advice to a broad range of UK and global companies, with a specialized focus on online reputation management, social media and crisis preparedness.
Mr. Williams has over a decade of experience in supporting CEOs and business leaders with their digital engagement, and as part of the UK Digital & Insights team he supports a large portfolio of senior leaders. Mr. Williams also developed FTI Consulting’s “Leading From The Front” program, which guides leaders from strategy development to active engagement on digital channels.
Mr. Williams also leads a key part of FTI Consulting’s crisis preparedness program, “FTI Fortify,” which involves supporting clients with our multi-stakeholder crisis simulation exercises and critical event preparedness. Originally developed in 2015, Mr. Williams has facilitated exercises with dozens of boards, management and business continuity teams right across the world.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2013, Mr. Williams worked for FTSE 100 retailer Tesco, where he worked across several fields including Investor Relations, Media Relations and Government Affairs. Latterly, he was the first ever Global Head of Digital Communications with the responsibility of managing the company’s reputation online and developing the group’s corporate digital communications strategy.
Mr. Williams earned a M.Sc., in Politics and Communications and a B.Sc., in Government, from the London School of Economics.
