About Georges
Georges de Thieulloy has more than 25 years of experience advising stakeholders in stressed and distressed situations, acting as the lead advisor on high-profile turnarounds for creditors, corporates and private equity across France, Europe and Africa.
With a hands-on approach, Mr. de Thieulloy specializes in orchestrating complex national and cross-border transformations to optimize recoveries and outcomes. His expertise extends across various sectors, including process industries, consumer goods, transportation, building materials, packaging and agriculture, highlighting a versatile skill set adaptable to diverse challenges.
Mr. de Thieulloy has held multiple C-suite roles throughout his career, delivering successful turnaround outcomes in numerous large-scale cases. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he served as the president of a company under Leveraged buy-out for six years and spent a decade at Roland Berger in Paris, where he held a partner role overseeing restructuring activities.
Mr. de Thieulloy holds an M.Sc. in Management from Emlyon Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A. in Finance from HEC Montréal. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the Franco-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and ARE, the prominent French association for business turnaround.
