Akihiro Nojiri

Akihiro Nojiri is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting and is based in Tokyo, Japan. With extensive experience in communications consultancy, he oversees public affairs, government relations, and financial communications for organisations in Japan.

Mr. Nojiri is a well-rounded strategist and advisor who has a diverse background in government and business, having held various positions within the Japanese Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Financial Services Agency.

Mr. Nojiri joined Fleishman-Hillard Japan in 2009 as the head of Public Affairs, later becoming the President of VOX Global Japan before joining FTI Consulting in July 2023. He has provided counsel to numerous global and domestic clients across various industries, such as technology, energy, finance and insurance, pharmaceuticals, and entertainment, helping them navigate the complex regulatory environment in Japan and manage multiple stakeholder engagements to enhance their corporate reputation.

Mr. Nojiri holds a BA in Law from the University of Tokyo, and LL.M from Harvard Law School, and has been admitted to the New York State Bar, U.S.
