Charles Gourgaud

Charles Gourgaud is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Construction, Projects & Assets practice within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Paris. Charles joined the firm in 2017, having spent most of his career working on major oil and gas, liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) and civil works projects.

Charles is a testifying expert in delay analysis with more than 19 years of experience in the planification and control of engineering and construction projects. He has acquired hands-on experience in design offices and construction sites, onshore and offshore, from front-end engineering design (“FEED”) to commissioning phases.

Charles has extensive knowledge in the methodologies and tools required for conducting delay analysis. He has been appointed as a testifying delay expert in several International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) arbitrations and regularly signs expert reports on a wide range of disputes.

Charles holds a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from ESTP, Paris, as well as a Pg.Dip. in International Construction Contracts from Paris II Panthéon University.
