Christopher G. Loos

Christopher Loos is a Managing Director in the Environmental Solutions practice within FTI Consulting’s Forensic Litigation & Consulting segment.

Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Loos has over 20 years of experience providing consulting services to companies and their counsel. Mr. Loos' work has primarily involved damage valuations, cost analysis and cost allocation in the context of litigation, agency/private cost recovery actions and insurance claim disputes.

Mr. Loos has extensive experience with environmental claims where he has examined hundreds of sites, typically in the context of litigation. Mr. Loos has experience working in the energy, chemical, utility, airline, electronics, telecommunications, defense, automobile manufacturing, paper, automotive parts, mining, construction, retail and software industries. Mr. Loos has served as an expert witness and provided testimony at mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Loos was a Senior Vice President with Nathan Associates and a Director with Gnarus Advisors LLC.

Mr. Loos holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering with an environmental concentration from the University of Virginia and has completed accounting and finance coursework at the University of California, Los Angeles.
