Christopher Martin

Christopher Martin is a construction professional with more than 25 years of industry experience. Christopher provides independent expert advice on complex delay and disruption matters and has been appointed as a planning and delay expert on multiple occasions.

Before transitioning into delay analysis and consulting, Christopher spent more than a decade in planning roles with leading UK and international contractors. His experience spans the oil and gas, shipbuilding, process and industrial, energy, building and infrastructure sectors, with notable involvement in major rail projects.

Christopher has been appointed as both a named expert and an assistant in delay and disruption disputes. He has testified on two occasions in domestic and international arbitrations, including giving concurrent evidence. In addition, he advises clients on both contentious and noncontentious matters across litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Christopher holds a Master’s degree in Construction Law and a B.Sc. in Construction Management. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Society of Construction Law and has completed various Bond Solon expert witness training courses.

• Appointed as a delay expert for both domestic and international disputes

• Acted as lead delay analyst on several high-value, multidisciplinary projects, ranging from large-scale infrastructure developments to complex energy and industrial projects
