David Ellis

David Ellis is a Senior Director in the Construction, Projects & Assets practice within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment at FTI Consulting. David is based in London.

David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building and a quantum expert with more than 35 years experience in the construction industry. He has been appointed as quantum expert across a wide range of disputes, giving both written and oral evidence under cross-examination.

David’s work has also included adjudication, arbitration and litigation support, undertaking contract reviews, project audits, contract and commercial management, as well as preparing and defending claims.

Prior to expert work, David spent more than 20 years in contracting in the UK, providing him with extensive commercial experience, including five years as Commercial Director for a UK top 10 major contractor, with responsibility for the overall commercial performance of the regional businesses.
