Emanuele Grasso

Emanuele Grasso leads FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance practice in Italy and plays a central role in driving the firm’s continued expansion across the country and the broader Europe, Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) region.

Mr. Grasso brings more than 30 years of experience advising private equity firms, global insurers, alternative asset managers and other financial institutions on complex corporate transactions. He combines deep technical expertise in financial due diligence and M&A with a global perspective developed through leading financial services transactions across more than 20 countries.

Mr. Grasso actively supports the growth of FTI Consulting’s Financial Services platform in EMEA, with a particular focus on transaction services, and he regularly contributes to high-profile, cross-border engagements. He is also recognized for his specialized expertise in football finance, including the development of Financial Fair Play frameworks for leading European clubs and governing bodies.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Grasso was a Partner in the Transaction Services practice at PwC in New York. Before spending nearly a decade in the United States, he was based in Milan, where he contributed to the expansion of PwC’s Financial Services and Deals advisory business across EMEA.

Mr. Grasso is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and French.

Relevant Experience:

• Advised Blackstone, Cinven, Apollo and other PEs in several deals in the life and annuities sector
• Supported alternative asset managers such as Bain Capital, Metlife Investment Management and Azimut in their U.S. growth
• Advised Generali in the acquisition of Conning Insurance, MGG Investment Group and its tentative transaction with Natixis
• Served as a key advisor in the Parmalat turnaround; testified in U.S. court
• Supported the European Central Bank (“ECB”) and Bank of Italy during the 2014 Asset Quality Review
